Overview

Along a rocky ridge in Madikwe Game Reserve lies Impodimo Game Lodge. The elevated position of the lodge provides beautiful views of the African bushveld. The hillside forms a small valley which creates a sort of natural highway which the animals make use of, ensuring guests have a game rich viewing experience while at the lodge.

The lodge is beautifully decorated using earthy tones and natural décor, leaning into the calming atmosphere of the bush. The new underground Elephant Hide also provides amazing close-up views of the game that comes to the waterhole, providing wildlife photographers unique shooting angles from below for their shots.

Meals are a treat at Impodimo with their highly skilled and dedicated chefs. Added to this, their excellent service levels and the beautiful views from the main lodge, provides a safari experience that you will remember for years to come.

Impodimo is known in Madikwe for their innovative steps. They were the first to employ local Shangaan trackers at the lodge. They have built their own solar power plant to supplement their power needs and thus lessen their environmental footprint.

Eight beautifully decorated Luxury Suites and one Safari Villa are available at Impodimo Game Lodge.

Children

Children of any age are welcome at Impodimo Game Lodge. Impodimo has an extensive children’s program, crafted to both delight and entertain the young safari adventurer. The program has been tailored for each age group and is great fun and educational for all.

Impodimo provides a personalized welcome pack filled with goodies and activities for those times between safaris.

Children aged 6 years and older are welcome on the game drives. Children who are younger do not have to miss out as the lodge also offers a “kiddies bumble” specially tailored to the younger ones.

Impodimo also offers baby sitting services when parents are on safari or if they simply need a break.
