Location

Madikwe River Game Lodge is located on the banks of the Groot Marico River in the spectacular Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa.

Its stunning location makes Madikwe River Lodge the ideal venue to host intimate wedding ceremonies or a venue with a difference for small conferencing or incentive packages.

The Lodge

The lodge offers comfortable thatched accommodation and facilities from which to view the surroundings and wildlife.

There are three venues available for conferences and incentive getaways. These venues can host between 8 and 25 delegates. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the main lodge, although Boma dinners and Bush dinners can be organised by prior arrangement.

  • Lodge Facilities

    The gorgeous outdoor Boma, located on a central island in the river, is accessed via a wooden bridge. This is where early morning breakfasts are served, under sprawling Acacia trees. Leisurely, fine-dining dinners are complemented by the expansive, sparkling African night sky.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation is offered in 16 chalets, sleeping 32 adults and 12 children. Three double rooms (king size beds), six twin rooms, six family rooms (twin beds and additional sleeper couch) and one comfortable suite are available.

    The sixteen secluded split-level thatched chalets surround the main lodge. The chalets are individually decorated and reflect their African heritage. Guest comforts include an en-suite bathroom, a romantic outside shower, a full range of guest amenities, a private lounge and wooden deck. The decks overlook the stunning forest and gently flowing river.

      • Free of charge when sharing with full paying adults in a Family Room
      • A maximum of 2 adults & 2 children can be accommodated in a Family Room
      • Cots are available on request

      50% of the adult sharing rate when sharing with two full paying adults in a Family Room
    • The full adult rate is applicable if occupying their own room or when sharing with one adult only
    • A maximum 2 adults & 2 children sharing can be accommodated in a Family Room
