IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE HAVE TO INFORM YOU OF A DEVASTATING INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED AROUND 23H00 ON THE 12TH OF DECEMBER 2022 AT JAMALA MADIKWE ROYAL SAFARI LODGE.
A fire broke out in the main lodge area, resulting in catostrophic extensive damage, and we are forced to close this facility for the foreseeable future.
We are very grateful that no injuries were sustained by in-house staff or guests. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Jamala Madikwe Lodge is beautifully positioned in the Madikwe Game Reserve, in the North West Province. The reserve is home to a great diversity of wildlife of the southern region.
Accommodation is offered to a maximum of ten guests in five freestanding villas. The Jamala Villas offer superlative luxury and intimate privacy combined with extravagant indoor and outdoor facilities which include individual rim-flow pools & salas, expansive wooden decks & private outdoor showers.
The five beautifully appointeded en-suite Jamala Villas have incredible views over the African savannah plains from their wrap around decks. All Villas have all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star property. Antique four-poster beds draped in mosquito netting paired with glass fronted bedrooms ensure that every waking moment is spent enjoying Africa and its wildlife.
