Location
Motswiri Private Safari Lodge is in Madikwe Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the Big 5 amongst many other species, including Wild Dog and Cheetah. Motswiri is an exclusive lodge in Madikwe, offering luxury accommodation. Situated in North West Province, Madikwe is malaria free and is about three and a half hours driving distance from Johannesburg, or an hour's flight.

Accommodation
Motswiri Private Safari Lodge lies hidden in the bush, nestled under a canopy of Leadwood trees, overlooking a busy private waterhole.
The lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 people in 5 luxury bush villas set around a swimming pool.
Motswiri offers the option of individual bookings or exclusive use of the whole lodge, making it ideal for corporates, celebrations and family groups.
Lodge Facilities
The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephant families and other big game, Motswiri offers the option of either individual bookings or exclusive use of the lodge.
Motswiri main lodge:
- separate lounge, dining and lounge bar facilities - each with its own roaring fireplace in winter
- dining also takes place in the outside boma on balmy summer nights

The interiors have been skilfully designed so that there is a blend between open space and the bush by utilising the retractable doors and windows.
Motswiri is ideal for executive corporate breakaways, family / friend groups of up to 10 who do not wish to share the facilities with outsiders.

Our lodge offers some of the best views in Madikwe as well as the feeling of tranquillity given by the mature trees (mostly Leadwood trees) under which the main building and 5 luxury bush villas nestle. The lodge offers a a swimming pool and overlooks a busy private waterhole.

Wildlife, Birdlife & Nature
Madikwe Game Reserve is one of South Africa's prime safari destinations. The rich diversity of vegetation ensures a wide range of game and the topography offers ideal game viewing opportunities. Madikwe is home to 66 mammal species including the Big Five and more than 300 resident and migrant bird species.
Directions
Access to Motswiri Private Game Lodge is either by road or by air.
The lodge is easily accessible by Private Charter or the daily Madikwe Shuttle into the Madikwe Western Airstrip just 30 minutes from Motswiri Private Safari Lodge.
It is about 3.5 hours' drive from Johannesburg via the N4.
