Little Madikwe Hills
Separate from the Main Safari Lodge is Little Madikwe Hills, the ultimate in luxury and privacy. It is ideal for families wanting to spend a special safari weekend together, and a permanent child minder is on hand for young family bookings. The Main Lodge does not accommodate children under the age of ten years.
The secluded environment and outstanding service is also an ideal game reserve retreat for corporate groups needing to get away and focus; whether with the objective of strategizing, or simply spending time relaxing together as a team. There are Internet and presentation facilities and the outstanding, yet discreet, service ensures that corporate teams can stay focused on their work.
Nowhere else in South Africa can groups be accommodated in such privacy and luxury, whilst being able to experience the Big 5 in South Africa, with Wild Dog viewing at their leisure – creating a truly unforgettable experience that far exceeds expectation.

Madikwe Hills is very proud to play a prominent role in the upliftment of the local community - Molatedi Village.
- Molatedi High School (Batlokooa Secondary School) 160 scholars.
- Primary School (Thageng Primary School) 170 scholars.
- Early learning centre 'crèche' (Mfoloe Pre-School) for pre-school children - Madikwe Hills has built a new crèche and supports them financially.
- Some children cannot attend school for months due to lack of funds (School fees are as little as R50.00 per month, but still not affordable) - Guests can contribute towards sponsoring these children.
- Madikwe Hills has undertaken to supply clothing, food and other aid.
- Skills development and job creation.
Directions
The reserve is approximately a 4 hour drive from Johannesburg, following the route via Zeerust before proceeding north. The lodge is accessed via Abjaterskop Gate. Air transfers from Grand Central Airport or Johannesburg International Airport are available. There is no charge for the transfer from the air strip at Madikwe to the Lodge.
